So the tutor can monitor your progress and you have a reminder of the work you did on the course, you will be asked to create 'evidence prints' of the tasks you complete.
Each print should contain a copy of the original image that you worked with - captioned, and then copies of the 'retouched' image(s) you produced - also suitably captioned.
Follow the steps below:

Save your image
the montage images

First, you must save your retouched image in jpeg format - with a new filename so that you do not overwrite the original image.

In Paintshop Pro, with your retouched image open, use the menu command FILE > SAVE AS to get the Save dialogue.

Make sure you select jpeg as the file type from the 'Save as Type' drop down list, as this format can be imported into Microsoft Word.

Alternatively, with the image open you can use the command EDIT > COPY

Then open a new Microsoft Word document.

Paste into a Word document
Background Image Dialogue

With a new blank document open, first type your name and then 'South Nottingham College - Digital Image Enhancement' and press the ENTER key to get a new line.

Then use EDIT > PASTE command to paste your copied image onto the page.

Alternatively instead of pasting the copied image, you can insert it into the document by using the command INSERT > PICTURE > FROM FILE. You then have to navigate to where you saved your (retouched) image, select it and click the 'Insert' button to place it.

Save and print the page.

Always save your images and evidence pages

It is important to save all your retouched images, and if possible, your evidence pages as separate files.

Tip: to avoid having to type your name etc. every time, open a previous evidence page, put your new image(s) in, but use FILE > SAVE AS to save the 'new' page with a different name. You will then have two separate evidence pages!
